rton Buller, Host
Burton Buller has been director of Third Way Media since 1999, and holds an M.A. in Mass Communications from University of Nebraska School of Journalism. Earlier he was director of Family Life Network, Winnipeg, Manitoba where he hosted Connecting Points. Buller also owns a media production company that has created films and television programs for religious, corporate and governmental clients.
BACKGROUND
Shaping Families is the newest regular production from Third Way Media (LINK) (formerly Mennonite Media) based in Harrisonburg, Va. as part of Mennonite Mission Network of the Mennonite Church, USA. Third Way Media grew from a radio program begun in 1951 which was eventually called The Mennonite Hour. The mandate since its original radio broadcasts has been to present the Good News through media. In the decades since its beginnings, it has developed numerous award-winning video and audio broadcasts, print and Internet productions, and has received awards from Clio, Telly, Gabriel, Gracies, Angel, Industrial Film Festival, WorldFest Houston Film Festival, National Religious Broadcasters, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and others.
